Who Am I - Casting Crowns

Never Too Young

A 10-year-old girl, lying on a bed helplessly in a coma. She had gone crazy a few days ago before being in this state. "She won't live much longer," said the people around her. Was it true? What had she possibly done to have to go through all these torture and suffering?

It was a few weeks ago when she was doing a ministry service and worshiping The Lord together with other people- children, adults. All in a sudden, she fell down and laid unconscious. The pastors, preachers, everyone came and prayed for her. She is a wonderful child. She gets visions, sees angels. Why did God put her in this position?
It was finally known that she had gotten a brain disease. How terrifying, she was still 10! She went crazy for a few days and was locked inside a "cage". Then, a few days afterwards, she was in a coma. The doctors all thought she wouldn't make it. But she did. Even though she did survive, she couldn't walk, nor talk. Despite all the obstacles, she came to church to seek The Lord and His words. The pastors poured in words of God throughout the days. One day, everyone gathered beside her and started praying for her, "Lord, we believe that You have great plans for her. You gave her visions, that was just the starting point of her calling. Please, heal her Lord!"
The more they prayed for her, the better she got. She then fully recovered.

Now, she is all grown up, in high school, going to university. But due to financial issues, the family couldn't find the perfect university for her. News came on the phone, "Your daughter received a full scholarship to ____ university..."
It is a miracle! Guess who paid for her...  Bill Gates! He hadn't known her when she was 10. But he heard a lot about the things she had gone through. So he asked her to write her testimony, and she did.

He Held My Hand

During an earthquake, a five-year-old boy named Garry was playing in the second floor. The second floor ground couldn't hold on and fell. Spontaneously, the little boy held on to the chandelier which was 5 meters away from the ground. Right below the chandelier is a glass table. His parents shouted to him, "Hold on, kid!"

His parents were searching for a ladder to reach out to their son. Garry shouted, "Mommy, I'm scared. My hands aren't strong enough to hold on any longer." His mom replied, "You are a strong kid, we are sure that you can hold on for a little longer."

Not long after, his father came with a ladder and helped him down. Remarkably, Garry held on to the chandelier and waited for an entire 10 minutes! He told his mom, "Mommy, Jesus held on to my hand and told me to stay strong.
